Hello I recently purchased a super 8 camera from a garage sale, it seems to be in good condition. I bought it with hopes that I might be able to make stop motion movies with it but looking at it I think that it is only a live action camera(if there is only that kind
On my camera it has a trigger?, and it rotates the film I guess. I just want to make it do one shutter at a time is there any way that i can do this? If so Please contact me thanks. oh yea if you have any tips for a begining film maker please e-mail me. Thanks again. My E-mail is J0KeR56@

What kind of camera is it? There are some cameras that do single frame exposure and others that can't.

Or perhaps you want to make motion, stop!
Tell us the name of the camera, including the model number.

You can use it for single frame animation.
You will have to get a shutter release cable,
available at a camera shop for under $10.
On the Yashica 50, it screws into the small
threaded hole in the middle of the slver knob
labeled "L", "N" and "1", near the film door.
Attatch the cable release, turn the knob to "1", and push the plunger on the cable release. If that doesn't work, disconnect the cable, reset the knob to "1", reconnect the cable and try it.
